Coordinate Your Outdoor Chairs to Match Your Table

I found these chairs at a yard sale for $5.00 each. I sanded the arms to take the rust off. Then I spray painted them blue to coordinate with the fabric.

              Outdoor chairs

I wanted to coordinate the chairs to the tablecloth I made for my Outdoor Tablecloth, so I made very thin cushions to be on the chairs.

They were very easy and quick to make.

          Designing outdoor table and chairs

I measured the seats and cut the foam.  I cut the fabric to the size of the foam, plus a half inch all the way around.

From here, I followed the same technique as in making Throw Pillows. You will find the page with the directions under the catagory Budget Room Design.

After I had the cushions made, I sewed 4 ties from the left over fabric and put them on the top corners and center edges of the cushions.  I then tied the cushions onto the chairs so they wil stay anchored when someone sits on them.

It was a fun project and dresses up my outdoor room.
