How To Sew a Simple Eyeglass Case

4 rectangles of fabric, 4"x8" each

2 rectangles of batting, 4"x8" each

Case Front and Back:

Place 2 pieces of fabric right sides together with a batting rectangle under the wrong side of one fabric piece.  (You can use 2 different pieces fabric--one for the outside and and a different one for the lining.) Sew along the top with a 1/4" seam allowance. This will be the front of the case with the lining attached.
